SAT Health in cooperation with the leading information consulting company SUIS and the School of business Competence, hosted a seminar on the new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) requirements and the challenges for the Pharmaceutical industry and welcomed representatives of the leading pharma companies in Bulgaria.
The new GDPR restrictions will come into force on 25th May 2018 and may greatly affect the way of working of each company that incorporates personal data in their daily business.
Mrs. Lena Borislavova – Attorney of Law at Georgiev, Todorov and Co law office, reviewed the legislative framework. The affected scope of data and the involved parties, promoting possible solutions and changes as to address adequately the strict requirements.
Together with Mr. Ivan Dimovski, who is a leading expert in organizational security at SUIS, reviewed the new principles of data processing. Elaborated on Privacy by design & Privacy by default options. He also reviewed the challenges that companies will face in regard to data processing, CRM systems, data gathering, handling and protection.
The IT expert and certified ISO 27001 auditor Mr. Raicho Minev from ComSoft focused on the new requirements and technical solutions for the IT infrastructure.
The leading expert in information security, Mr. Ognyan Drensky from the School of business Competence spoke about Regulation 2016/679 and focused on the Practical guidelines for alignment with the Regulation.
